MEET THE TEAM

BC People First Society (BCPF) is run by a volunteer Board of 5-10 Directors, all Self-Advocates, all BCPF Members – representing the province by Regions. Director positions are usually 3-year terms. Executive positions are voted on every year by the Board of Directors, with the President taking a 2-year term instead of the 1-year term for Vice-President, Secretary, and Treasurer.

The BCPF Board of Directors is a group of volunteers nominated and elected by members. The Board of Directors helps lead the organization, make important decisions, oversee finances and policies, and make sure BCPF stays focused on its mission of supporting self-advocates to create positive change.

• Regional Director – Islands Coastal

• Regional Director – Lower Mainland West

• Regional Director – Lower Mainland East

• Regional Director – Fraser Valley

• Regional Director – Central Interior

• Regional Director – The North

• Regional Director – The Kootenays

• Director-At-Large x3 positions
