About the event

Do you want to learn from people with experience fighting for their rights in an ableist society? Do you want to hear from leaders of self-advocacy groups and award-winning change-makers in BC? Join our upcoming presentation and workshop!

This event is a great chance for self-advocates and people with disabilities to learn from other people's experiences and ask questions from experienced self-advocates.

BCPF Member Meghan Atkinson-Smith will be giving a presentation about Speaking Up With Confidence. And leading a discussion on the topic with the group afterwards, based on her experiences being a Blind self-advocate and human rights activist and also a singer-songwriter and world-traveler.

We hope you can make it!
